Glimepiride+ Metformin belongs to the class of anti-diabetic drugs. It is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, especially in cases where blood sugar levels are not controlled by diet and exercise alone. Type-2 Diabetes is a chronic illness that affects the way our body process glucose. In this health condition either the body does not produce enough insulin, or the insulin produced is not enough to perform its functions in the body (insulin resistance).

Take the tablets as per the prescribed dosage and duration given by the doctor. This medicine is not recommended for children, hence keep the medicine out of reach of children. Some people may observe a few side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, headache, upper respiratory tract infection, dizziness, and flatulence.
