Medication Used For

Enoxaparin Injection ( Coraparin Injection ) is an anticoagulant ( Blood Thinner )  used to prevent  blood clots that are sometimes  called deep  vein  thrombosis ( DVT ) , which can lead  to blood  clots in the  lungs . A DVT can occur after certain  types of surgery , or in people  who are bed – ridden  due to a prolonged illness.

INDICATIONS

Treatment of Acute Deep Vein Thrombosis .

Prophylaxis of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis ).

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The mechanism of Action of Enoxaparin is antithrombin – dependent .Enoxaparin injection acts mainly by accerlating the rate of the neutralization of certain activated coagulation  factors by antithrombin , but other mechanism may also be involved.
