Amlodipine + Atenolol is a combination medication prescribed to lower blood pressure. The medicine belongs to a category of drugs called anti-hypertensive commonly used to treat high blood pressure or hypertension. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic health condition in which the blood pressure against the artery walls becomes too high. This gradually damages blood vessels and causes heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and other problems. The medicine is composed of Amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker, and Atenolol which is a beta-blocker.

  • anti-HIV drugs (ritonavir)
  • anti-epilepsy medicines (carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone)
  • immune-suppressing drugs (cyclosporine, tacrolimus)
  • painkillers (ibuprofen, aspirin)
